Muslim Summer Camp First Day: June 26, 2013

Alhamdullilah! We did it, the launch of 2013 Muslim Summer Camp. We started mid-week and have a total number of ten campers, two volunteer youth counselors, a college intern and three teachers. As always, we ARE so looking forward to many fun adventures, friendships and learning experiences. Our curriculum this year centers around Umar (r.a) and his second caliphate; scientific knowledge around Allah's creations of "Animals with Tails, Wings and Fins." We will also be having special Ramadan programing during camp. Additional Islamic enrichment is offered after camp, from 1pm - 3pm with Arabic Reading and Qur'anic Memorization.
